But Did You Die

Okay, if you're a Patron, you know I've been whining on the recent episodes about dying in a fiery plane crash to or from Europe. Well, I'm happy to report that the trusted pilots and crew of British Airways got me to my vacation and back in one piece! Guess that means you're stuck with me!
We went to England, Ireland, N. Ireland, and Scotland on this trip. It was amazing. Let me tell you, I met some of the kindest people on the planet in those places. Seriously, I was blown away by the kindness we were constantly shown. If you ever want to escape a negative rat race, let me recommend going there (especially Ireland and Scotland. Wow!).
We saw so many amazing sites--when aren't castles amazing?--and had waaaaay too much delicious food. The Irish whiskey ain't half bad either.
I even got to see William Wallace's (Braveheart) Monument and sword! Bucket list item checked off!

Book News
I've got news on Battleborn, The Zodiac, and Rev Carver.
First up: both of my urban fantasy series will conclude next week. The last Zodiac and Rev Carver books are up for pre-order now & the paperbacks are actually already available now.
Some of my readers have been waiting a LONG time to hear news about the Battleborn series.
Now I finally have some to share with you.
I'm currently 20 chapters deep into writing the next and FINAL Battleborn book. That's right; the low, dark fantasy series is ending with this seventh book.
Want to know the title?
It is.... (insert dramatic drum roll)....

Like it? Let me know by emailing me.
I don't have a timeline for completion, but it'll be done and dusted before the end of the year. Exciting news for newsletter subscribers: the book will be for sale via my website before it ever hits Amazon! So, if you've taken the ride with Gaeron, Chali, Drulf, Shel, and Dokka, get ready to say goodbye.
(Note for anyone new to my books: I finish what I start. I'm not one of those authors who'll abandon a series. I will finish it, even if sales don't justify it. That's my promise to you. So, if enjoy one of my series--or all--don't hesitate to start them, because you will get a complete story).
There'll be more news on Battleborn after The Echoes of Pisces and Angel's Tribulation release.
Be Epic In All You Do
Before I go, I wanted to share a bit of my geekdom with you. If you don't know what Kickstarter is, check it out. It's an excellent platform where creatives set up special projects to get funding to help make them a reality. I've supported a number of fellow authors on the platform (and will be using it for my upcoming LitRPG).
But yesterday I found out that my childhood horror inspiration, Clive Barker, has a Kickstarter campaign for new stories and remastered Books of Blood. Those books were the inspiration behind my 12 Deaths of Christmas stories. If you are a fan of Clive and didn't know about this new project--he's finally writing again after some health issues. If you're a Clive Barker fan, check it out. I think it expires very soon.
Okay, I've taken enough of your time! We'll chat again real soon when the final Zodiac and Rev Carver books come out!
Until next time…
Keep being epic,
Paul
